My first full-fledged picture making use of my new Aiptek (read: Cheap Knock-off) tablet, Macromedia Flash, and layered shading. This is also the first fully-fledged picture that was done entirely free-hand on the computer as opposed to drawing on paper first, then tracing the pencil after uploading...
There were some glaring problems in the last picture I made, so I see this as a major improvement... I'm over-all satisfied with this one. My only regret is that the image size couldn't be larger .
I really like it.The lines are especially nice! I like that not every line is the same size, theres more thickness in different areas, and I think that helps it look soo good. (thats also what I was told when I got a critique on some of my work, by the Academy of Art college rep.) I do see the glare, but could that be also because of the transfer to jpg. Because sometime that just happens, especially when you don't know how to transition a picture to jpg onto the web. (That happens to some of my picts from time to time.) And maybe if you add somemore light in the background it might help, line on the ground. But its defenatly a nice peice! So good job!
Thanks! The background was very shoddily done, really. I didn't spend nearly as much time working on it as I did Meta Knight himself, so I tried to hide that fact by blurring the crappy background and making it as hazy as possible >_>. The lights in the back could have been much better, but I just didn't spend enough time working on them.
Oh your welcome! Its a good pic. I didn't even know tho where meta knight was from until I played Super Smash bro brawl. >o< Are you gonna draw any other of the characters from that game?
Hmm... I'm not sure. I'm so addicted to Brawl right now, it'll probably be the main focus of all of my works for a long time >.>... Meta Knight, being my main character and favorite character, is probably going to get the most attention, though.
Yah I like that game too. I only wish I had a wi tho. Still don't have one. But yah I wanted to draw a pic of link soon, but my pen and tablet isn't working so well, so I won't be able to work on very much digital medium much. It works from time to time, but because my little annoying brother keeps stealing my computer, I don't get a chance to work on stuff.
thanks. I'll do all that I can. But for now the tablet is working, it just works on and off tho. And my brother.... ... ... theres nothing I could do about him!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
